Our Mission

CCVV is a great family church! We are blessed to be a part of the Calvary Chapel family of churches and to serve alongside of so many wonderful churches in our valley! We are a "Calvary Chapel", which indicates our doctrine and form of ministry. We teach "through the Bible", from Genesis to Revelation in all of our grade levels. Our greatest emphasis is missionary work. Several times a year there are opportunities to go on mission trips. We have traveled the globe, from Africa to Russia, Chile, the Philippines, Thailand and more. We also travel to Israel. Keep an eye on the Current Events for plans of upcoming trips.

Speaking of Missions! Joe and Sarah Nelson and their children have completed their move to Thailand. Please be sure to keep them in your prayers and keep in contact with them via email and such. Check out what is happening with the Nelsons at the "Nelson" page located HERE!

You can also follow them on their blog. Go to the Nelson Blog and be sure to say hi!

Prayer Meeting

A pastor at a previous church I attended back in Maine once said that you can tell the health of a church by how many people show up for prayer meeting. Every Sunday night at 7 PM is the prayer meeting. Please plan on attending! Prayer should be our first avenue; not our last resort.

Prayer Chain

If you have a prayer need, you can activate the prayer chain. During daytime hours, call the office at 927-6879. In the evenings, call Kim Marshall at 927-5409.

Get Plugged In

Calvary Chapel Valle Vista has a number of opportunities for people to get involved. Check out the programs and opportunities on the MINISTRIES page!

Liberty Restoration Ranch

This is a ministry for men who want to be free of drugs and alcohol. Being free, though. is just the start. Get more information on the MINISTRIES page if you or someone you know could benefit from this ministry. Speak with Rob Lortz if you'd like more information about the ranch.

Theology Thursday at Jireh's Coffee Shop!

Guys, every Thursday at 4:00 PM we meet at Jireh's on the corner of Meridian and Florida for a cup of Joe and lively discussions about theology and such. It's open to all the men (sorry ladies) who can make it. We have turned it into a bible study as well and are currently going through the book of Genesis. Come and join us, guys!! It's a great time of fellowship and study!!
